At first sight they might look very unlike, the Reducepters. Man and woman, in different shapes and sizes. But if you look a bit closer, you’ll notice they have a lot in common: A good sense of humor, their efforts and hard work, but most of all, their desire to free the world from chronic pain. The Reducept team is continuously involving more such Reducepters and expanding to a larger scale every time you check!
Meet the team

As Science Officer and Founder of the Reducept Company, Louis has +8 Years of clinical expertise in treating patients with chronic pain as a psychologist. Awarded for exceptional performance by the Royal House, he also shares a great passion for gaming. His aim is to make himself dispensable as a pain therapist.


Cum Laude Arts and Public Health & Health Innovation graduate. 25 under 25 most promising entrepreneurs. Margryt combines her passion for art, people and background as the Executive Officer and Founder of the Reducept Company.


Mathijs is an analytical and ambitious financial with a broad educational background in business economics, technics, and political science. 10+ years finance experience, (corporate & tech scale-up) with strong focus on strategy, performance marketing & BI. C-level M&A experience make him a well experienced and valued Financial Officer at Reducept. Mathijs focuses on providing forward-looking and strategic thinking by means of analyzing and structuring problems and opportunities.



Since his introduction to Google glass in 2013, Professor Harry van Goor has led various innovation projects with great passion. Focusing on Innovation Research and disruptive digital solutions, he published over 335+ studies. His dream is to create a Virtual Health Centre, where vulnerable individuals and groups in society have easy access to and well-being is promoted. Harry is lead of the Randomized Controlled Trials Phase 1 and 2. In this, Harry contributes to combating and preventing chronic pain with simple, smart and accessible (virtual) technologies.


Product expert with 13 years of experience. Patrik and his teams have released and managed over 60 successful products. He has extensive experience in managing and scaling teams in Europe and Asia and is founder of Game Industry Networking and the Game Industry Insights. He can also be found as a Keynote speaker at various events and podcasts.


Besides his current role as Chief Growth Officer at Next Games, Yiannis is advisor to the Online Marketing team, building the bridge to people with pain. With 10 years of professional experience in Mobile Marketing, Business Transformations and Global Expansions combined within corporate, entrepreneurial, academic, military and athletic environments, Yiannis coaches the team in successfully growing and scaling the Reducept Method.

Jiasi has a strategic view on business development and healthcare. She loves working with different disciplines and is action oriented. With her modern vision, she seeks partnerships with clients who want to help chronic pain patients to reduce their pain.

Tom has always had a passion for discovering the innerworkings
of how games tick. Leading him to making games from a very early age
and deep-diving into game architecture.
Having dealt with chronic pain himself,
he knew he had to hop on-board with Reducept,
to make sure that nobody would ever have to go through the same thing.


Tim develops serious games for AR and VR. As part of the Development team, Tim is mainly involved in the development of new features for the product and the support of new (VR) platforms. Creating and offering a game to improve people's health is what motivates Tim as a developer.


Improving the health of people with chronic pain touches Elisa personally. As a generalist and specialist she works with projects and campaigns that focus on both online branding and performance. In this way she helps patients to take matters into their own hands in order to change their situation.


Jeroen has always been fascinated with the world around him. This has put him on a journey trying to learn as much about it as possible. Not satisfied with just learning about it, he also like to impart others with the same wonder and knowledge through his work. At Reducept, Jeroen is focusing on Reducept for Mobile.


Charley is a classically trained pianist and started composing music when she was 8 years old. She studied Composition for the Media at HKU, Music and Technology, Jazz Piano at the Conservatory in Utrecht and graduated with triple honors.
She completed a traineeship with Game and Film composer Jeff Rona in Los Angeles. Charley has a great passion for artistic content creation and people. For Reducept, Charley produces Content, manages Reducept Media and composed all the Reducept soundtracks.



Marie likes the positive side of life. At Reducept she contributes to internationalizing the Reducept method and together with Charley creates new content, like the newsletter. With her psychological background Marie enjoys adding to the fight against chronic pain.


Peter is passionate about creating and designing (technical) solutions in order to make life easier for people. He believes in a solution-based approach when tackling problems, by first getting an actual understanding of the human needs and iterating through the process of ideating, prototyping and testing. Obsessed with gaining more knowledge in order to improve himself, Peter works on behalf of Alserda Media together with the Reducept API team. His expertise is based on his love for programming, dynamic (web) applications, gaming and innovative start up environments.


With a solid background in design, illustration and concept development, he is helping Reducept to bring ideas to life. According to Gerben, working with visuals makes everything (at least) 10 times more fun. Together with Chris, he faces the visual and conceptual challenges at Reducept.


Maarten is an enthusiastic guy who has the passion to develop games since primary school. One of his targets is to create serious games that actually helps people improve their health using Virtual Reality. Maarten is Scrum Master within the Game development team of Reducept.


Chris is the graphic designer that likes to use his talent meaningfully. Chris loves to visualize unique stories, ideas or problems that help people grow. Together with Gerben Jelle, Chris solves the visual and conceptual challenges of Reducept.


Natalia is a portrait and art photographer from Moscow and worked for Microsoft MSN as a PR and Channel Manager. Her background in online media, her focus on details and her entrepreneurial spirit come to the right place as content creator at Reducept.


Mahir, at 19 years of age, is the youngest, most detailed and goal-oriented team member. He has lived in Lisbon, Dubai, California and Groningen and finds it easy to work with different disciplines. As web developer Mahir takes care of the website, the CRM system and the company metrics.





Derek played his first digital games on a Philips MSX1 VG-8020. He is the founder of the Master's program Digital Innovation in Healthcare and Serious Gaming, in which the importance of good design is paramount. With his educational background, Derek safeguards Reducept's educational theory, values and design to challenge the oxymoron. His metaphorical re-contextualization is a core working mechanism of the Reducept Method.


Marlies has a broad and successful experience in business development. Het interest lies in the relation between body and mind. With her investments in health, technology, innovation and sustainability, she combines the best of her interests. Marlies is part of the Reducept team as a coach and investor.


Peter founded SPIL Games (acquired by Azerion in 2020) in 2001 and became one of the world's largest game publishers. Peter, Founder and CEO of Spil Games (exit 2020), invested in +6 Start Ups including LP in Henq III, Peak III and Healthy Capital I.
